Gravemind - Lifelike
Australian Deathcore Band Gravemind releases "Lifelike" With Video
The track is violent and undeniably gripping, never letting your attention go.

Anyone into Deathcore these days can feel how the genre has stagnated. Predictable buildups and breakdowns with a tinge of black metal for brownie points. Very rarely has a notable single come out in recent years in the genre (much less a notable band), but today is your lucky day. Australia’s Gravemind released their new single “Lifelike” and boy, oh boy, does it pack a potent punch. Simultaneously melodic, off time and absolutely punishing, “Lifelike” is unforgiving from start to finish. A breath of fresh air, inventive riffs and a groove that's near impossible to emulate, this song could only serve as the launchpad for even greater things in store. Australia is no stranger to quality Deathcore acts in recent years, A Night In Texas, I, Valiance, Thy Art Is Murder and Aversions Crown to name a few, the latter two of that list Gravemind has vocal features from, showing they’re not only comfortable in the genre, but willing to push it forward. Only debuting in 2015, they really honed their sound with 2017’s The Deathgate EP. Their new single, however, is in a word “bold”, embracing a more Djent groove with enough dissonance and double kick to make it stand out.
They’re currently on a mini headlining Australian tour to promote the new track with supporting acts Diamond Construct and 23/19:
04 May The Lifelike Tour Adelaide, Australia
05 May The Lifelike Tour Collingwood, Australia
06 May The Lifelike Tour West Footscray, Australia
11 May The Lifelike Tour Sydney, Australia
12 May The Lifelike Tour Fortitude Valley, Australia
