“I’ll Try to hold onto the Earth when all of these blossoms rise up from the dirt…”

The latest from Vancouver four-piece Meltt is an instantly toe-tapping dose of psychedelic rock with an upbeat vibe. Aptly named, “Blossoms” continues to flourish and grow throughout the tune, with colorful instrumentation and a chorus that hits with heavy bass.

The introduction should seduce listeners with a bright synth pattern and a fresh drum beat that continuously evolves. Sprinkle in vocals that touch falsetto at moments and have a weight at others, and “Blossoms” is a great song to throw on when looking at the stars in the sky, driving at night, or enjoying the sunshine.

"’Blossoms’ is about making an effort to see the beauty in nature and experiencing the ‘real’ it has to offer. It shows us an escape from manufactured environments that we are constantly immersed in and accustomed to. The track also provides a feeling of connection with your past, or a general human past. With an appreciation for the natural world, ‘Blossoms’ tries to convey a feeling of the ‘glow’ you might have when having these experiences outdoors,” states Meltt about the new single.

The band blends the fresh, carefree intro and verses with a big, bass-filled chorus that will have fans and audiences wanting to sing along. It nicely weaves an emotional weight that will make you sit up in your chair or raise your arms in the air when coupled with the catchy and straightforward verses.

In support of their new music, the band will kick off a Western US tour starting in Vancouver in late February. Follow the links below to connect and listen to more from Meltt.
